ABU KUFIYA gives every customer a 14 day right of withdrawal. You may return any unused item in its original condition within 14 days of delivery and receive a full refund of the item price. This policy applies to all orders shipped from Berlin to Germany, the EU and worldwide.

1. Your right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party named by you, take physical possession of the last item of the order. To exercise this right, send a clear statement (email is enough) with your order number AK-… to our shop email before the period expires.
2. How to return an item
Write to us with your order number and the items you want to send back. Within one working day we email you a ready-to-print DHL return label or a QR code you can scan at any DHL Paketshop or Packstation. Pack the item in its original packaging, attach the label and hand in the parcel. Returns inside the EU are free of charge; for returns from outside the EU the customer carries the shipping cost.
3. Refunds and processing time
As soon as your parcel arrives we check the item, normally within 2–3 working days. We then refund all payments received from you, including the standard delivery cost, at the latest within 14 days of receiving your notice of withdrawal. The refund is made with the same payment method you used (card, PayPal or cash on pickup), and no fees are charged for the refund. For card and PayPal payments the money is usually visible in your account within 3–5 banking days.
4. Exchanges
If you prefer another colour, size or pattern, tell us in your return request. We reserve the replacement piece for you and send it as soon as the returned parcel has been checked. Exchanges inside the EU are shipped free of charge.
5. Damaged or wrong items
If a kufiya arrives damaged, faulty or is not the item you ordered, contact us within 14 days with a photo. We cover the return shipping worldwide and choose with you between a free replacement or a full refund, including all shipping costs.
6. Exceptions
Custom-made or personally embroidered pieces made to your specification, as well as items that have been worn, washed, perfumed or damaged after delivery, cannot be returned. Gift cards and discount codes are not refundable in cash. This does not affect your statutory warranty rights.
7. Cancellation before dispatch
Orders are prepared the same day. If you cancel before the parcel leaves our Berlin workshop, we cancel the order immediately and refund the full amount including shipping — usually within 24 hours for PayPal and card payments.
