Represented in vibrant blue, yellow, green, and purple, the city of Bisan (بيسان), Canaanite for “home of gods”, resides at the junction of the Jordan River and luscious Jezreel Valleys. Though the indigenous Palestinian population were forced to flee the town during the Nakba, memories survive of a city famous for its water springs, green fields, and banana plantations, the lively cinema, the bustling train station, and the first Palestinian agricultural high school for girls, and so too remains the dream of return.
